Description

Ethicon Johnson NW2303P Vicryl Sutures are sterile, synthetic absorbable surgical sutures composed of polyglactin 910. This coated VICRYL* PLUS suture is intended for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues. The braided construction supports secure knot tying and controlled handling. Absorption occurs by hydrolysis, leading to progressive tensile strength reduction followed by complete absorption. As an absorbable suture, it should not be used in cases where extended tissue approximation is required.
