Description

Ethicon Johnson NW817 Prolene Sutures USP 6-0 are synthetic, non-absorbable monofilament sutures made from polypropylene and designed for precise soft tissue approximation. The monofilament structure enables smooth tissue passage and minimal tissue reaction, supporting reliable wound closure. Equipped with a 3/8 circle cutting Ethiprime needle, the suture allows controlled penetration through skin and other tough tissues. The Ethiprime-coated needle improves handling by reducing friction during insertion. With indefinite breaking strength retention, Prolene sutures are suitable for procedures requiring long-term support, including subcuticular skin closure.
