Description

Ethicon Johnson VP2472 Vicryl Plus Sutures USP 3-0 are sterile, synthetic absorbable braided sutures made from polyglactin 910 and coated with IRGACARE MP (triclosan) for antibacterial protection. Designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, these sutures provide dependable performance with controlled absorption and tensile strength retention. The braided construction ensures secure knot tying and smooth handling, while the violet colour enhances visibility during procedures. Absorption occurs through hydrolysis with progressive tensile strength reduction followed by complete absorption. Vicryl Plus sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation except in ophthalmic, cardiovascular, and neurological tissues.
