GC everX Posterior is an advanced fiber-reinforced composite developed specifically for dentin replacement in extensive posterior restorations. It is used as a reinforcing substructure beneath a conventional composite that acts as enamel replacement. The material contains short glass fibers that significantly enhance fracture resistance and help stop crack propagation, which is a leading cause of composite restoration failure. With fracture toughness comparable to natural dentin and nearly double that of standard composites, everX Posterior provides exceptional strength and durability. The oriented short fibers reduce polymerization shrinkage stress, resulting in minimal horizontal shrinkage and improved marginal integrity. The material allows bulk placement with curing depths of 4–5 mm, enabling efficient restoration of large cavities at chairside. everX Posterior bonds reliably to both tooth structure and overlaying composites, making it an ideal solution for reinforcing restorations in high-stress posterior areas and offering a cost-effective alternative to indirect restorations.

Directions to use

1. Indication Check
- Use in cavities wider than 3 mm.

2. Bonding
- Apply bonding agent to prepared cavity according to standard protocol.

3. Wall Build-Up
- Replace missing cavity walls using a conventional composite if required.

4. Application of everX Posterior
- Apply everX Posterior as dentin replacement in bulk layers up to 4–5 mm.
- Light cure according to manufacturer recommendations.

5. Final Restoration
- Cover everX Posterior with a final 1–2 mm layer of conventional composite to act as enamel replacement.

6. Finishing
- Shape, finish, and polish the restoration as per standard procedures.
