Ideal for cases involving sharp bony ridges, undercuts, or post-surgical adaptations (such as after extractions or implant placement), it provides a cushioned fit and improved adaptation of dentures. Unlike traditional soft liners that are prone to peeling and difficult adjustment, GC RELINE II Soft ensures durable adhesion to the denture base and is easy to handle, grind, and polish—offering both clinicians and patients a more reliable and comfortable long-term solution.

Specification

Type: A-silicone soft denture relining material
Indications for Use: Suitable for patients with sharp bony ridges, undercuts, and for post-extraction or post-implant cases
Working Time: Approximately 1 minute 10 seconds
Setting Time: Approximately 2 minutes intraorally
System Components: Includes primer, remover, and compatible finishing material

Directions to use

 Prepare the Denture:

Clean and dry the denture surface thoroughly.
Roughen the relining surface with a bur for better mechanical retention.

 Apply Primer:

Apply GC RELINE II Primer for Resin to the bonding surface.
Allow it to air dry completely (as per instructions on the primer packaging).

 Dispense Material:

Load the GC RELINE II Soft cartridge into the automix dispenser.
Attach the mixing tip and apply the material evenly onto the denture surface.

 Seat the Denture:

Place the denture in the patient’s mouth and ensure proper positioning.
Instruct the patient to close lightly or use finger pressure to maintain position.

 Setting Time:

Allow the material to set intraorally for approximately 2 minutes.

 Finishing:

Remove the denture and inspect the relined surface.
Use rotary instruments to trim any excess material.
Optionally apply RELINE II Finishing Material to seal margins and smooth the surface.

 Replacement/Removal (if needed):
