1. Sterilize the instrument before clinical use.

2. Carefully insert the tip between the tooth root and alveolar bone.

3. Apply controlled and gentle movements to sever the periodontal ligament and expand the socket.

4. Continue loosening until adequate mobility is achieved.

5. Proceed with tooth extraction using suitable forceps.

6. Clean, disinfect, and autoclave the instrument after use.
