Directions to use

Open the Package
Open the package from the side marked with the “S” symbol and place the instrument onto a sterile field while maintaining full aseptic conditions.
Grip the Device
Hold the Safescraper with the transparent tank facing the bone surface to ensure precise and controlled movements.
Bone Collection
- Push the device end firmly against the bone surface and pull it backward to collect shavings.
- You may also use slanting or sideways scraping motions for effective harvesting.
- Adjust the pressure and angle to achieve the preferred consistency and shape of bone lamellae or plates.
Capacity
- Safescraper Twist Curve: Up to 2.5 cc bone capacity.
- Volumizer: Up to 3 cc bone capacity.
Retrieve Collected Bone
Hold the device with the transparent tank facing downward, press the lock button sideways, and rotate the tank clockwise to release the collected bone.
Continue Collection (If Needed)
To resume harvesting or before disposal, slide the tank back to its original locked position and press the button laterally to re-engage the locking mechanism.
Transfer the Bone
Use sterile forceps or a spoon-type elevator to transfer the collected bone to the surgical site.
Post-Use Disposal
Dispose of the instrument according to medical waste handling protocols. The device is single-use only.
