Shelf Life and Storage
-
Best before 36 months under proper storage conditions.
-
Store at a temperature between 10 °C to 30 °C.
-
Keep powder and liquid containers tightly closed to prevent contamination.
For Liquid
-
Dewaxing Residual Wax
-
Thoroughly flush out any residual wax using boiling water after the dewaxing procedure.
-
-
Application of Separating Medium
-
Apply a separating medium uniformly to the gypsum surface, excluding the mold space.
-
Allow it to dry completely before proceeding.
-
-
Mixing the Resin
-
Dispense 5 mL of liquid monomer into a clean mixing cup.
-
Add 10 cc of powder to the liquid by gently tapping the dispensing jar.
-
Do not stir the mixture with a spatula to avoid air entrapment.
-
The resin will achieve a dough-like consistency within 20–30 seconds from the start of mixing.
-
-
Packing the Resin
-
Remove the dough in one piece from the mixing jar, taking care not to introduce air bubbles.
-
Pack the resin into the invested mold in the flask.
-
The resin remains workable for approximately 8 minutes from the start of mixing.
-
-
Bench Curing
-
After packing, allow the resin to bench cure for 30 minutes under a pressure of 30–85 psi.
-
-
Polymerization (Heat Activation)
-
Option A: Place in a 74 °C water bath for 8 hours, then increase the temperature to 100 °C for 1 hour.
-
Option B: Place in a 74 °C water bath for 2 hours, then increase the temperature to 100 °C for 1 hour.
-
-
Post-Processing
-
After deflasking, immerse the processed denture in a plaster dissolvent to remove any residue.
-
-
Finishing and Polishing
-
Once cured, trim, shape, and polish the acrylic to achieve the desired fit and finish.
-
-
Storage
-
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
-
Shelf life: 36 months under proper storage conditions.
-
For Powder
-
Surface Preparation
-
Ensure the application surface is clean and dry before use.
-
-
Measuring the Powder
-
Measure the required quantity of Maarc Heat Cure Powder, available in 100 g, 400 g, 500 g, 1 kg, 3 kg, and 5 kg packs.
-
-
Mixing with Liquid Monomer
-
Combine the measured powder with the liquid monomer in a clean, dry container.
-
Recommended powder-to-liquid ratio: approximately 3:1.
-
-
Adjusting Consistency
-
If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of liquid monomer.
-
If too thin, add more powder until the desired consistency is reached.
-
-
Working Time
-
The mixed acrylic has a working time of around 4 minutes, during which it can be shaped and adapted as needed.
-
-
Application
-
Use the prepared acrylic paste to fill the desired area, such as for dentures, partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and other dental prostheses.
-
-
Heat and Pressure Application
-
Apply heat and pressure to initiate polymerization.
-
The product is specifically designed for heat-curing applications.
-
-
Curing
-
The material typically cures in 10–15 minutes under recommended conditions.
-
-
Finishing and Polishing
-
Once cured, trim, contour, and polish to achieve the final shape and smooth surface.
-
-
Storage
-
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
-
Shelf life: 36 months under proper storage conditions.
