Medicept Hydrocal LC is an advanced, light-curing calcium hydroxide liner and base material designed for effective dentin protection during restorative treatments. Formulated with calcium hydroxide and calcium hydroxyapatite suspended in a urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) resin base, this highly filled liner offers minimal polymerization shrinkage and water absorption.
Hydrocal LC’s higher viscosity eliminates the need for specialized applicators, allowing precise application. Its excellent strength, water insolubility, and radiopacity make it ideal for use beneath composite, amalgam, gold, and other restorations, providing reliable pulp protection and long-term durability.

Directions to use
Step 1: Preparation

Step 2: Application

Step 3: Light Cure

- After curing, proceed with adhesive procedures and restoration placement as usual.
