Description
Ormco Enlight Light Cure Adhesive – 4g is a highly filled, light-cure adhesive designed for use in orthodontic bonding. It features a Bis-GMA resin that offers excellent handling characteristics and is easy to clean, ensuring smooth and precise application. The adhesive incorporates a highly active initiator system, which supports reduced cure times, optimizing the overall bonding process. Directions to use
- Tooth Preparation: Place lip/cheek retractor and saliva ejector. Thoroughly clean teeth with pumice and water. Rinse and dry with air syringe.
- Etching: Apply etchant solution to the bonding surfaces for 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with air-water spray and suction. Dry the etched enamel until a dull, frosty appearance is achieved.
- Bonding Procedure: Dispense a small amount of OrthoSolo sealant onto the mixing pad and apply evenly to the teeth.
- Adhesive Application: Apply a thin, uniform layer of Enlight adhesive to the bracket pad base, then place the bracket onto the tooth surface.
- Curing: For metal brackets, expose the adhesive to light for 10 seconds; for ceramic brackets, expose for 5 seconds. Shine light through the bracket for ceramic brackets, or shine on mesial and distal edges for metal brackets.
- Post-Application: Remove excess adhesive and place active archwires immediately after curing.
