Prevest CalUltra – Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Liners is a two-component, rigid-setting, self-curing calcium hydroxide preparation designed for use as a direct and indirect pulp capping agent. It serves as a protective liner under all dental filling materials, cements, and base materials without affecting the polymerization of composite restorations. CalUltra offers excellent handling characteristics, quick setting time, and protects the pulp while promoting secondary dentin formation. Suitable for permanent and deciduous dentition, it provides a reliable barrier between restorative materials and deep vital dentin.

Directions to use
- Dispense equal volumes of base and catalyst onto a mixing pad (1:1 ratio).
- Mix thoroughly until uniform color and consistency is achieved (approx. 10 seconds).
- Apply directly on exposed pulp (direct pulp capping) or on dentin surfaces (indirect pulp capping).
- Remove any set excess from margins or retention areas.
- Complete restoration according to restorative material manufacturer’s instructions.
- Use rubber dam isolation and protective equipment; store remaining material in a tightly closed container.
