Description
Hemostal Liquid is a 25% buffered aluminium chloride thixotropic, non-dripping gingival retraction liquid designed to effectively control minor gingival bleeding and fluid seepage during restorative procedures, crown preparations, placement of bands, cervical matrixes, and scaling in periodontic cases. Its excellent handling properties ensure precise placement, making it suitable for use in class V composite restorations, cementation, and oral prophylaxis. The formulation is pleasantly flavoured, stable, and provides reliable hemostasis without staining restorations, unlike ferric sulphate-based alternatives.

Specification
- Composition: Aluminium Chloride, Glycerine, Fillers, Coloring Pigment, Flavoring Agents, Purified Water.
- Intended Use: Topical hemostatic liquid for controlling minor gingival bleeding.
- Indications: Use during restorative procedures, crown preparations, oral prophylaxis, and sulcus retraction.
- Shelf Life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
- Storage: Store between 10°C–24°C in a cool, dry place.
Directions to use
- Remove the syringe cap and attach the applicator tip.
- Apply a sufficient amount of liquid directly into the gingival sulcus, following the contour of the prepared tooth.
- Leave the liquid in place for 2 minutes.
- If bleeding persists, rinse, reapply, and wait another 2 minutes.
- Rinse gently and dry before impression taking or restoration placement.
- For sulcus retraction, impregnate a retraction cord with liquid and place stepwise into the sulcus.
- Do not reuse dispensed material.
