Ø  Prepare the Surface:

• Clean and dry the tooth surface thoroughly.
• Isolate the area using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to keep it moisture-free.

Ø  Apply Etchant:

• Dispense a small amount of Septo Etch onto the enamel and/or dentin using the syringe tip.
• Ensure even coverage of the area to be etched.

Ø Etching Time:

• Allow the gel to remain in place for:
• 15–30 seconds on enamel
• 10–15 seconds on dentin

Ø Rinse Thoroughly:

• Rinse the area with water for at least 15 seconds to remove all etchant.
• Suction the rinse water thoroughly.

Ø Dry the Surface:

• Gently air-dry the etched area.
• For dentin, avoid overdrying—keep slightly moist for optimal bonding.
