Shofu Zirconia Reinforced Glass Ionomer is a next-generation restorative material designed to combine the strength of amalgam with the protective benefits of glass ionomer. Reinforced with zirconia fillers, it offers superior mechanical properties, including high compressive strength, edge stability, and excellent resistance to abrasion and erosion. Its translucency ensures a natural tooth-like appearance, while sustained fluoride release provides long-term anti-cariogenic benefits, particularly in high caries-risk patients. With strong adhesion to enamel and dentin and a thermal expansion coefficient close to natural tooth structure, it minimizes interfacial stress and risk of restoration failure. It is packable and condensable like amalgam but mercury-free, making it ideal for minimally invasive procedures, pediatric, geriatric, and ART techniques.

Directions to use
- Prepare the cavity according to standard restorative protocols.
- Measure powder and liquid in the recommended ratio (2 scoops : 1 drop).
- Mix thoroughly within the working time of 1 min 30 sec.
- Place the material into the cavity, condensing and adapting as required.
- Allow the material to set for 3 mins at 37°C.
- Finish and polish as per clinical need once the material has fully set.
