RelyX™ U200 is a dual-cure (light- and self-curing) self-adhesive resin cement composed of the following components:

·        Methacrylate monomers

·        Inorganic fillers

·        Initiators and stabilizers

·        Pigments

 1. Preparation of Tooth and Restoration

• Clean the prepared tooth surface with water spray and gently air dry. Do not desiccate.
• Try in the restoration and adjust for fit and occlusion.
• Sandblast or clean the internal surface of the restoration according to the type of material (e.g., alumina-blasting for zirconia or metal, hydrofluoric acid etching for glass ceramics).
• Rinse and dry the restoration thoroughly.

2. Dispensing the Cement

• Automix Syringe: Attach a mixing tip to the syringe and dispense directly into the restoration or onto the tooth surface.
• Clicker Dispenser: Dispense equal amounts of base and catalyst pastes, mix manually for 20 seconds until a uniform color is achieved.

3. Application

• Apply the mixed cement to the internal surface of the restoration.
• Seat the restoration immediately with moderate pressure.

4. Excess Cement Removal

• Tack-cure technique (optional): Light-cure excess cement at the margins for 2 seconds per surface, then use an instrument to peel away the gel-like excess.
• Alternatively, allow self-curing for approximately 2–3 minutes, then remove excess with a suitable instrument.

5. Final Curing

• Light-cure each surface (buccal, lingual, occlusal) for 20 seconds.
• If light access is limited, allow the cement to self-cure completely (approx. 6 minutes) from start of mixing.
