GC Fuji 1 - Gold Label 1 Luting & Lining GIC
Description
Some materials earn trust simply by working consistently, year after year, case after case. GC Fuji I (GC Gold Label 1) is a self-cure, radiopaque glass ionomer luting cement trusted worldwide for the permanent cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, posts, and orthodontic bands for over 25 years.
What makes it genuinely convenient chairside is that it bonds chemically to both tooth structure and metal on its own. No separate primer, no bonding agent, no extra step eating into your appointment time. That alone simplifies the workflow considerably, especially during busy clinic days. Combined with an ultra-low film thickness of around 15 microns, restorations seat more precisely, with fewer marginal discrepancies to worry about down the line.
GC Fuji I also keeps working long after the cement has set. It releases fluoride continuously, which helps guard against secondary caries and supports natural remineralization around the restoration margins. The mix itself has a smooth, creamy consistency that's easy to handle and predictable to place, and it sets quickly enough to keep procedures moving without feeling rushed.
Mechanically, it's no lightweight either — strong post-set strength, low solubility, and a thermal expansion rate close to natural tooth structure, which helps the marginal seal hold up over time instead of breaking down under everyday stress. Whether you're cementing a PFM crown, placing orthodontic bands, or using it as a base or liner, GC Fuji I remains one of the most dependable glass ionomer cements in modern dental practice.
GC Fuji I remains one of the most dependable dental luting cements for restorative and orthodontic procedures, combining strong adhesion, fluoride release, low film thickness, and decades of proven clinical performance.
